This review is long overdue, but I must give credit where credit is due. Eric, Nicole, John, and the rest of the Collision Restoration team deserve every 5-star review here thanks to quality work and the highest standard of customer service.My Model 3 sustained damage to both driver-side doors when a pickup truck sideswiped me on the highway. The other driver's insurance Liberty Mutual accepted fault but offered a measly $500 worth of repairs at a shop of their choosing and argued that their driver's low-rate policy didn't cover work done at a Tesla-certified shop.Regardless, I called every Tesla-certified shop in a 25-mile radius, but they were all booked 6-8 weeks out. The last shop I called, Collision Restoration, was also booked, but they asked me to bring my car in anyway so they could take a look.Eric assessed the damage and said he could make time for me in 2 weeks. He even ran back to his shop for a solution to rub out the pickup truck's paint transfer, saying, "I don't want you driving around with those streaks until your appointment."When I handed Eric and Nicole Liberty Mutual's $500 estimate, they said they didn't care what insurance estimated, they'd see for themselves what repairs were needed.From then on, Nicole took over the insurance claim, even calling Enterprise on my behalf to schedule picking me up from the body shop. Nicole kept me updated via email and text. I never once had to question what was next. The shop even accommodated a later time for me to pick up my car after work.When I pointed out a slight flaw in the paint job, they immediately acknowledged that a speck of dust must've gotten lodged in the finish They offered a courtesy vehicle while they fixed it, with no fuss or attitude.The final result was perfect. As a bonus, they not only washed and detailed my car but also fixed some odds and ends (polished curb rash, popped out a dent on the wheel well where someone had opened their door into my car) unrelated to the insurance claim. My car looked better than it did the day I drove it off the Tesla lot.All in all, Collision Restoration made the entire insurance and repair process painless. While I hope I won't need their services again, I know I can trust them to take excellent care of my car in the event it needs repair.
We have owned our Tesla S for almost 3 years. Unfortunately our Tesla has been involved in 2 accidents. Both times we utilized the expertise of Collision Restoration. I just picked up our 2021 Tesla from Collision Restoration. Our car with 38,000 miles, looks and drives like a brand new vehicle. Thank you Eric and John who have guided us thru this experience 2X with the upmost class and professionalism. Your quest for perfection is very appreciated!

The service was great! I'm very happy with the results. Collision Restoration worked on my Model Y after the accident and did an amazing job!
I spoke to John to see if they can replace the suspension on my Tesla model Y. He advised that they are primarily a body shop but referred me to the place next door and even emailed me a quote of what it would cost. He was extremely helpful to me. On the day of my service, he walked me over to the shop next door and introduced me to Ron and made sure they knew who I was and why I was there. I cannot thank John enough for being so helpful and making the whole thing such a pleasant experience! He was very knowledgeable with Teslas and made great recommendations. The world needs more people like John. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for such a pleasant experience!

Wow!!! is an understatement. Not only does Collision Restoration do amazing work but they are also amazing people. Not only did our Tesla come back better than factory, ahead of schedule and on budget but the owner did the kindest gesture for our family. I received a text message from the owner offering to make a donation on our behalf in support of my wife being a breast cancer survivor. We were so touched by this extremely kind gesture that his attention to detail identified when personally inspecting our car and seeing her survivor sticker. It is refreshing to see a business that not only cares about their work product but also their customers.

I serviced my truck here after an accident. This shop did a very detailed job. That being said, when I went to pick my truck up, I found an issue. They immediately took responsibility and went above and beyond to make sure the job was to my expectation. They even took over my car rental and paid for it. I was satisfied with the job that they did on my truck.

One of the best business I've dealt with. Sincere and very honest. With so much difficulty in sourcing OEM parts from Tesla, they constantly followed up with Tesla and kept me posted in each stage. They were sincere in making sure my tesla is safe before delivering it to me. Since there are very few Tesla body shops.. thought my experience will benefit my EV buds.

Perfect job done
My teenage daughter started driving last year, and like most teenage drivers she had a minor incident with a guard rail while parking at night. Very minor and she was upset but I told her not to worry we all make mistakes and we would get it fixed. I called up Danielle who I've dealt with previously and she was her usual chipper and charming self.We had an estimate and despite having all those Teslas to work on, they fit my daughters Toyota in, and once in the shop, it was done within a week.The car, even though it's seven years old, looks brand new and I would recommend this shop to anyone who wants a thoroughly professional job.

I've visited Collision Restoration twice. In both cases, I was treated with remarkable respect and integrity. This visit, I had a minor scrape that I was prepared to pay for out of pocket. In my mind, it was going to cost me $300 to $500 and I fully expected that. Instead, John was able to replace the damaged trim and buff out the bumper so it looked (almost) good as new for less than $100. Their attention to detail and good customer service is really, really refreshing.
After getting rear ended at a very high rate of speed, I had serious doubts my vehicle would ever be the same. I reached out to Collision Restoration and spoke with Nicole, who was nothing short of amazing and made the process as seamless as possible. The owner Eddie is also a car enthusiast and great guy who takes alot of pride in the work that his shop produces. Pictures are worth a thousand words, take a look and judge for yourself.

I carefully considered various body shops, including a Tesla one, before bringing my Model Y here (Note these guys are Tesla Certified). I waited almost 7 weeks for the parts, and once they arrived, my car was fixed up even better than when I got it initially from Tesla. The paint job is seamless, and my bumper now matches the rest of the car perfectly. These folks really back up their work, and while nobody's perfect, they come pretty close and stand by what they do. They were able fix the gap in my trunk which was "Within Spec From Tesla 🤣".When I picked up my car the first time, I noticed an issue with the rear glass. Eddie took a look and assured me they'd fix it ASAP. They addressed all my concerns, and now my car looks like it's brand new again. I had an appointment with Tesla, but I waited an extra 2 weeks for Collision Restoration because I trust their experience. I saw their work firsthand during my initial visit.Nicole was a big help, arranging rental car details and being flexible with my pickup times due to my busy work schedule. Glen and Chris were on top of my insurance claims, so I didn't have to worry about a thing. Eddie, the owner, clearly built this business through hard work and dedication. He didn't make excuses if something wasn't up to my satisfaction. Also, even though there were closer body shops, I chose to drive 2 hours each way to come here, and I'm glad I did.Also as a small token of appreciation since i had to go back for the glass (only took a day or two more), they went above and beyond to fix a dent on one of my doors which was unrelated to the accident.

Everyone has a choice. To be happy, courteous and helpful. Or to simply be a lesser human. Collision Restoration reflects the mindset of the former. Not only are they grand at what they do: they restore automobiles, expertly so, to their original state. But it feels like that is not enough for Eddie and the fine people that make up his team. I say “team” because that is how he views them. He is not their boss. They are colleagues, partners. Somehow they have taken something benign as auto body and made into a genuine craft dressed in a memorable customer service experience. They are from NJ. And they are nice. Really nice. How can that be? I don’t care how it happened but I walked away like they were custodians of my son’s car and as if he sat every night at their own dinner table. They took care of him. Full stop. If you want a profoundly human experience, you will instantly notice a culture and customer service oriented mindset that makes this outfit rise to the top of all that compete in their space. We didn’t meet everyone but for this customer, Collision Restoration holds a treasure that is Nicole and in Eddie, the engaged and thoughtful owner who made sure we left the lot satisfied. They earned any future business of mine and I highly recommend that you seek out their quality services.

Some crazy piece of debris on the Garden State flew up from the wheels of a tractor trailer and left a 10 inch scratch on the hood of our Model S, which is black so it was very visible. The highway debris also scratched the windshield as it was flying by.Took it to Eric at Collision Repair for an estimate. I will never — and I do mean never — go anywhere else. Eric was amazing. He was clear, honest, transparent, and didn’t try to upsell into expensive but ultimately unnecessary repairs. This happens a lot in your typical repair place (example: 1 flat tire last year and the local repair place tried to persuade us to buy a set of 4 new tires even though 2 of our tires were only a few months old)You know how you always hear older people say, they don’t make this that or the other thing like they used to? That’s Eric. Truly looking out for your best interest because he knows that a good and strong relationship is worth more than a quick sale. Given the culture of the place, I would drive here from a great distance to get their help.

Excellent customer service and quality of work!I had major repairs on my Tesla Model 3 owing to 3 incidents both in the front area and rear sides, but after I received my car it looked like right out of the showroom. The outer finish and the aesthetics were beyond my expectations. As a complementary service, they even cleaned from the inside and the seats and steering wheel were nicely wrapped in plastic. More importantly, they were on top of providing excellent communication, timely service, and an amazing customer experience. I would recommend their body shop without hesitation.Last, but not least, Glen (my main contact for repairs), Nicole (administrator), and Eddie (the shop owner) are great people to meet and I always had a good time talking to them 🙂

A little out of the way but def worth it. Tesla Model 3 bumper was dinged and scuffed up randomly in a parking lot. Called around a few places in northern NJ and was given the runaround. Called Collision Restoration, brought the car for them to take a look, they dealt with the insurance, called me to schedule to bring the car in when part arrived, gave estimated days to complete the job. Smooth, efficient process from drop off to pick up, great service, friendly staff. Can be a bit of a wait to get your car in though, had to wait 4-6 weeks. No wonder there are so many Teslas there! Staff also mentioned they’ll be a certified Tesla service center soon too for anything maintenance related. Awesome job guys! Thank you! will def return for maintenance when it’s time

Excellent staff and great service; nothing can beat that!My Tesla had repairs, and I went to get quotes from a couple of them; these guys are pretty reasonable (30 to 40% less) , updating status, responsive, and could deliver on time or before.I highly recommend this place, and you will not go wrong. I drove 40 miles to this place for a reason, and I am happy with the service.

The best repair center I’ve ever been to with incredible repair work and professionalism. I had just moved to NJ from MA, and I was hit by another driver and the right side of my car was scratched and dented. I was prepared to wait a few months for parts and labor (as is normal for Teslas in MA), but imagine my surprise when they ordered parts and completed the repair within a few weeks. I am way late on this, but several months ago someone backed into my car pretty hard in a Dunkin drive thru & I took it to Collision Restoration. I know NOTHING about cars, totally clueless, and they put me so at ease. They walked me out to my car and showed/explained every single thing they were going to do to fix it, and then once they fixed it they once again took the time to personally show me what they did. Highlight: they cleaned my car top to bottom, inside & out and finally got the goldfish crumbs out of my son's carseat - I was DELIGHTED! Everyone was so nice & the experience was so positive & easy that it *almost* made me glad that person backed into me at Dunkin.

Spoke to 3 or 4 Tesla approved body shops in the area and they were all hesitant to even take my call.After speaking to Nicole, my car was picked up within an hour of hanging the phone up. Needless to say, when I got my car back, it was detailed, ran perfectly, looked as good as it did when it was new, and they even went above and beyond and fixed some of my curb rash on my rims.Only negative (had nothing to do with Collision Restoration) was my car took a little longer than I'd like to get completed, but that's not on the body shop... Tesla doesn't stock certain parts or they are backordered, etc.. That's a Tesla issue.When I picked my car up, it was out front waiting for me and was in and out in 2 minutes.Thank you!Josh Ellison

The most professional and pleasurable car repair experience I have ever had. From a quick and acceptable to quote to the text message yesterday asking if I wanted a 'sandwich' or an 'omelette' for me to enjoy while I waited for my car to be fixed. I was in and out in 90 minutes and done perfectly. Having breakfast with the owner Eddie, I observed how the culture of this company permeates to employees and to customers - resulting in all of the positive reviews I read before entrusting my Tesla for repair. I hope I do not need Collision Restoration's services again soon, but I know where to send my friends when they need help.Update:Three months later, my wife had an accident with her car. This experience cemented by prior view. Calling from the accident site, Nicole was accommodating. She immediately sent a tow service (certified in Tesla transportation). John, who prepares estimates, thoroughly assessed the damage and provided an accurate parts and labor report for the repairs.Collision Restoration is rated by my insurance company as a 'premier car care facility' , and works with the insurance company to the satisfaction of both parties. Collision Restoration has the resources and expertise to get the job done right. In addition, they have a large selection of parts in stock, which helps to speed up the repair process. For example, the exterior metal and plastic pieces were in-stock and painted almost immediately. This, reduced the time to finalize repairs once the remaining parts were received.Daily status updates kept me informed throughout the process. The car was cleaned to be showroom new. Nicole, John, Eddie (the owner), and Danielle made the repair a painless and surprisingly enjoyable process. They are reliable, knowledgeable, and provide excellent customer service. I highly recommend Collision Restoration to anyone needing car repair services.

My 2023 Tesla Model 3 AWD sustained significant damage to the back rear. I was hit while parked 2 days after getting my car. The other vehicle hit me directly where the charge port is located. There was extreme structural damage to my car. I read reviews on this shop and brought my car to Mr. Ed. Although he had a lot of cars already to repair, he helped me during a very difficult time! My car now looks as good as new! Nicole was also very helpful during this process! The entire team at Collision Restoration is skilled and welcoming! Thank you for helping me!

We highly recommend Collusion Restoration. The supply chain issues of 2022 resulted in an extended wait list for repair. Collision Restoration is well worth the wait! They are very knowledgeable and very easy to work with. Communication is never a problem. Excellent results. Nikki, Eric, and the entire staff are the best!
Collision Repair did an amazing job on my new car. The employees are very responsive and will get you an answer right away. When I got the car back from them, it was missing the charging adapter. They mailed one to me right away. I highly recommend this body shop! 😊

I read online that this is the #1 certified Tesla repair shop in New Jersey (and somewhere top 10 in the nation) and after my (extensive) repairs, I can see why. A huge THANK YOU to Eddie, Eric, and Nicole for a timely fantastic job on my repairs. Within a days of dropping my car off with no notice to them, they communicated with my insurance, I received an estimate from Eric, and he informed me of my estimated out date. As the parts shipped in, Nicole kept me up to date on the status of my repairs. The repairs ended up being competed early, 4 days before the estimated out date! Such a big repair job and it came out perfect. Picking up my car was like when I first got it (they also offered me breakfast & a water). Nicole walked me out to it to ensure I was happy with the job and I 100% was. Steering wheel wrapped in plastic, paper “Thank You” mats on the floor to keep the car clean and it even had that new car smell again (I had spilled coffee all over the interior during the accident). Just an outstanding, over the top job. I have found my shop for any future repairs and will happily be recommending them!
Eddie and the team at Collision Restoration are nothing short but incredible. Eddie is a rare and great human being, they don't make them like him anymore that's for sure. They took care of everything with my car and made this entire stressful situation easy. I couldn't be more grateful for them. 2021 Tesla Model YI have to give 5 stars for collision restoration in fairfield NJ for their work and service. They take pride in their work and they care about their customers. Your car work might get delay due to the supply issue. Ask which parts are causing the delays so you can be aware of the timing.Pros - Body work is 5 star. Detailing is 5 star. (You will get a free detailing)Cons - Due to the semiconductor shortage issue, your parts might be delay. This is not something body shop can control.

My daughter needed some minor body on her Camry. I’m not an expert but it seems to me they did an excellent job, even going above and beyond to fix cosmetic damage on the bottom of the front grill and buffing out scuff marks on the rear trunk lid.They clearly take pride in their work and their reputation is important to them. Had a great experience getting our vehicle repaired after getting hit by a deer. Factory certified techs, only oem parts, great communication and they dealt with the insurance company directly. Not sure what more you could ask for, thanks again!

My insurance company, Selective recommended Collision Restoration when my car was hit in early October. I called Collision Restoration and Nicole was nothing if not gracious and helpful. She asked if the car was drivable and it was but there was plenty of visual damage. She explained that they were very busy and it would be early to mid-January when they could take it in for repair. I still wanted them to do the work as I had nothing but great reports about them! We agreed that I would bring the car over later that morning so they could give Selective and me an estimate of the work needed. When I arrived, it was immediately examined and I was carefully walked through all of the process if I decided to go with them. John even had the driver door adjusted so it was easier for me to use it (post accident). I did choose to work with them. December 23, they called to say that I should bring the car in on December 27. When I delivered the car, I was told to expect it back in 10-15 business days unless they had any surprises or needed additional parts. It was January 13 when they texted me to say that they were waiting on some additional parts. They texted me again on January 19 and 20 with updates.We picked up the car on January 20, it was beautifully repaired (looks brand new). The balance (our deductible) paid and we were on our way. Everything about the experience was first class and I can only say, if you need repair work, this is the place to go.
Big time family feel! Very knowledgeable and accommodating. You know your car is safe after they are done fixing it. Brought my daughter's car there. That's how much I trust them.

Recommending this place to everyone I know!! The whole team is amazing, so helpful and kind. So I went to this shop because my tesla got flooded. I had to call in right before their closing time since I had issues with towing trucks(it was right before Christmas). They however waited, and told me not to worry that they would take in my car. Thanks to Nicole, she also helped me setting up a rental car when I arrived. Everything was so smooth and professional there. All the good reviews speak for itself!!!
Amazing work. A driver pulled out in front of me, damaging the front of my Model S badly. After searching a bit I found these guys. The reviews are very accurate. They are very detailed, do great work, and are very friendly people who make the process easy.Highly recommend them. Staff was very nice and easy to work with. Did a great job and kept me updated regularly throughout the repair process. I highly recommend them.Update: I had a minor issue where car was running a bit hot. I contacted Collision Restoration who was very apologetic, made the repair for free (just a bad fuse), provided me a free rental car the day of the repair, and even gave me a $50 voucher to a local restaurant. Highly recommend them ... great service!
